Hello, my name is Phyllis Coates, owner of Changlings. I have been providing transformation services for the transgender community for over 20 years, while involved in the beauty industry for over 40 years. Services provided are private and discreet, held in my home and by appointment only.
A complete makeup consultation is performed choosing the right colors to complement your features and skin tone, while demonstrating how to properly apply the makeup, whether light or heavy, and showing how to do your own facial contouring. Also included are a chart of your face and information on how to pass during the day and the evening.
I will apply your makeup as natural, moderate, or dramatic as you choose. This is a great place to begin if you have never worn makeup before.
I prefer to cut and shape your wig to your face. This can only be done properly with the wig on your head. After cutting, the style is completed by setting the curl pattern with a steam process. If it is a new wig, the curl pattern is usually already in place, and the piece will only need a little tweaking to finish the style.
Your old frizzy wigs can be made almost new again. The process used will also help restore the sheen to your wig. Your wig can also be re-styled from curly to straight, or from straight to curly.
Let me help you pick the right color and style of wig for you. I can order your pick from a catalog or go with you to a local wig store.
If you have a hard-to-fit head size, I can make a mold of your head and have a wig created just for you. I can specify the color, length, denseness of hair, and type of fiber (human hair, synthetic fiber, or human hair/synthetic blend). I can also design the type of base cap you desire. Custom wigs require at least eight weeks from the time of order until delivery, and require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
